ear lovers of good health,
I repeat Knowledge is power. Good information and asking questions are keys to success and healthy lifestyle. Medical education is a gift and tool from God, please let us use medical diagnosis it’s very important, even while praying to God I can’t seem to stress it enough, God is the giver of creative knowledge in medicine and works through pastors, doctors and healthcare practitioners. While working in the missions field as a health advocate in several remote slum communities my husband Emeka Success and I faces these kinds of stories constantly where people are told to pray their fibroids away, yes prayer is what we believe in-- miracles signs and wonder, God heals no question about it, we need your healing proof with medical reports, xray and diagnosis for your own good and testimonies. Prayer and divine counselling go hand in hand. Please ministers let us educate all those who come to us for spiritual advice. Let us work together in ministry with medical workers. The hands and feet of Jesus this is all for the kingdom of God in healing.

In Nigeria, doctors break Guinness book of records by removing the world's largest fibroid from a woman's bellyThe news was shared by Nigerian trained doctor Abraham OC Ogolo and below is what he wrote on his Facebook page:Doctors from Safe Hands Medicare Center Nigeria have removed this. According to the hospitals social media report, confirmatory results shows that the mass weighed 26kg in Histopathology lab and was a 32cm degenerating fibroid. This makes it the Largest ever mass to be removed from an individual in any part of the world. The surgery was done without blood transfusionAccess to good healthcare can make a difference. This is the reason I campaign vigorously for universal access to good quality healthcare. It is a common belief in Africa that a woman with a large mass such as this one may have been cursed by someone in her present or in her past life. Some unqualified personnel may even attempt to make incisions (cuts) with unsterilised blades or knives all over her abdomen. She may be given different substances to drink and eat in order to deflate the tummy. Wrong diagnosis can be done in the absence of diagnostic equipments. This is the reason many still die in developing countries.
